Aaargh! My hand hurts! Yes, I drew all the apples by hand, and believe me when I tell you I will never try something like this again. After coloring a bunch of them, they actually started to look tastey.... it was then I knew it was time to go do something else for a while.
I don't know how I came up with this idea, but I must have been very tired. I am, however, very satisfied with the girls pose. It was not the first time I tried something like that, but I think this is the only picture I'm really satisfied with.
EDIT: I went back to this and made some major changes. I redrew her hair and edited the colors to it, gave the apples more shine and remade her eyes. Also made a few changes to her skin and face. Plus added a frame.
Apple pie, apple tinies, apple bread, apple... Ah well, you get the picture. I'm amazed by your patiense and devotion to finish this!
She looks so innocent and sweet among he delicious and yummy realm. Great serene expression and choice of colour.
When we talked about what colour you would paint her hair, I was very in to black for the sake of strong contrast. But this brown looks really good! Better than black I'm sure! Cause now it reminds me of the trunk of a tree. And where do apples grow? Yeeees, on a tree!
ARGH! Pretty! She looks so.. kind! Dee has tried to draw kind characters, but they all look either stupid or sickeningly cute. This woman looks like a Gaea.
Come to think of it, she looks a little like [whatever the woman who played Arwen is named]. (my memory sucks)

I had ha hard time deciding her hair color, but I finally decided on thos really dark brown. I also came to think of a tree. Scary, we think alike.....
